Glamour Portraits, Full of Grace.

Women are the anchor of all things that are, that is and that will be. There is no doubt GOD is a feminine entity. A wonderful creature with so much compassion and with the grace to create and destroy and to build again. How can one not be at awe when a flower blooms, to live its beauty and die to live again. It a phenomenon just too divine.

So like a crazed male bee I am drawn to them, blissfully by their awesomeness. And not the lame awesome followed by a high five. I mean "Awesomeness" that my heart flutters like a love strung school girl drooling at the end of my pencil. My mother is a rock, no, my mother is the earth beneath the mountain  she carries. A frightful women when angered, a child when she is embarrassed and so much of her I still don't know. But a women of force that's for sure. And once I had my first ninja, I could only apologise for being such a difficult teenager. Cause being a parent is difficult in ways that only another mother can only explain by the slight nod of their heads and a sigh of reasoning. Being a mother is the best bloody thing in all existence. True story. Being a women is just sublime. I am a true feminist at heart.

I wanted to photograph women. Try to be around them, capture this energy and celebrate it in a photograph. I wanted to only focus on shooting portraits. The face. The book of life that one can only take a glance of it through the eyes. My desire was to capture just one page of that book, because the moment is so short, so quick, so instant that what you have to immortalise is just a fraction of a fragment of that person. And I don't want to take every day pictures of people. I not a journalist. Im a storyteller. I want to capture the moment they feel confident, elegant and strong. Dressed in their Sunday best. The best of themselves so that when they go home and look at their portraits, and be damn reminded that the are 'Awesome'. So Thank you +Sue Bryce for sharing you love for Glamour photography on Creativelive. I have purpose to serve my glamour clients to give them a high end experience.

“Pretty women wonder where my secret lies. I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size. But when I start to tell them, They think I'm telling lies. I say, It's in the reach of my arms. The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me.” ― Maya Angelou, Phenomenal Woman: Four Poems Celebrating Women

Every women wants to feel beautiful, skinnier and admired. I create a magazine style shoot, geared with lighting, make up and hair artist and wardrobe consultation, so you can feel like a supermodel on your own personalised photoshoot. To take photographs that are beyond your everyday selfies and family photo. I want to take pictures of you that you will cherish and pass on to your family as heirlooms and as proof of your wonderful existence. The story I tell is of grace and elegance. So I hope you enjoy the first series of pictures I took in the theme of Glamour. And I also want to thank everyone who believed in my project before they saw a single living proof of my photography. Gracias!
